As a Distribution (WMS) Analyst I, you’ll assist Implementation Managers and IT project teams in completing customer startup projects and demand requests. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation, system configuration, testing, issue identification and resolution, and supporting internal and external customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation plan
  • Clearly and concisely documents and maintains project artifacts
  • Working under the direction of a project lead assists in the configuration and creation of custom application solutions
  • Completes and documents unit testing and integration testing activities
  • Coordinates and documents user acceptance testing activities
  • Identifies, defines, and resolves minor issues during the implementation process, escalating complex issues to more senior team members
  • Utilizes project management methodologies consistent with the standard framework
  • Become a subject matter expert in at least one area within the department
  • Trains customer end-users on solution functionality and operational processes
  • Seeks to identify improvement opportunities for process, execution, delivery, and communication
  • Learns new systems, processes, and tools quickly and thoroughly
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management


Job-Specific Requirements

  • BA/BS degree is strongly preferred; prior industry experience (Warehousing & Distribution, Supply Chain, or 3rd Party Logistics) is required.
  • 1-3years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain solutions design, development, configuration, deployment, and/or Implementation of WMS solutions across multiple warehouses is highly desired.
  • Experience with Manhattan WMOS, Softeon, or Blue Yonder is a plus.
  • 1-3 years experience implementing SDLC solutions in the supply chain vertical.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with third-party parcel systems like E2open, ConnectShip or similar.
  • Advanced relational database knowledge is required; experience with SQL queries for data mining is preferred.
  • Must be able to gather and document detailed requirements and collaborate with the internal teams to develop various IT components, including Integration, Reporting, and Application Development. Responsibilities include testing, deployment, and implementation support of the built solutions.
  • Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional and development teams on solutions. Strive for opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization. Customer-facing business acumen is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and their application to supply chain project implementation. Waterfall or Agile methodology experience as a Project Manager is a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Workspaces or Office365 productivity suites.
  • Experience with tools like My Solution Center, Salesforce, Power BI, and Smartsheets is a plus.
  • Rarely makes the same mistake twice; learns from failure.

  • Learns quickly and makes steady progress without needing constant significant feedback from more senior team members.
  • Demonstrated technical writing and business documentation skills.

  • Must be able to travel with potential for overnight trips (up to 25%), if needed.
