The Director of People Analytics is responsible for the design of our analytics strategy, delivering strategic insights and using tools to build business intelligence related to people matters. This role will drive continuous improvement, standardization and automation of people data reporting which will enable an evidence-based approach to management decisions. The role will collaborate with our Technology team to ensure data accuracy, integrity and security, and assist in the implementation of data governance practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaise with stakeholders to define data requirements, metrics and reporting frequencies necessary for effectively analyzing trends
Set a long-term vision for People Analytics and execute on it in collaboration with other HR leaders
Conduct complex data analysis, and identify patterns and trends in people data
Create data visualizations and use storytelling techniques to inform decision-making on people issues
Point of contact and subject matter expert for ad-hoc people data and analytics requests
Lead systems assessment and implementation
Perform human resource management activities, including identifying performance problems and approving recommendations for remedial action; evaluating performance; and interviewing and selecting staff at all levels
Coach and mentor staff, identifies training needs and creates development plans.
Work with cross-functional teams and other department managers to ensure success.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience required, preferably within the financial services industry.
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
