Associate Attorney

Corporate Associate/Business Law/Transactional Attorney

Condon & Forsyth was founded in 1935 and is an internationally recognized boutique firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.

We are currently seeking a corporate / business / transactional associate with four to five years of experience to join our business law team in New York. This is an opportunity for a self-starter to build a solid book of business over the next few years. It is a strong plus if you can bring an existing book of business to the firm.

The ideal candidate should have experience with contracts, corporate formation and maintenance, real estate transactions and general commercial matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of New York
• 4-5 years of experience in corporate law
• Experienced transactional attorney who can work autonomously

Skills:

• Talent for cultivating strong working relationships with internal and external partners
• Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent drafting, writing, and oral communication skills
• High level of organization and time management skills

Knowledge / Helpful Experience:

• Practical experience with commercial transactions
• Working familiarity with New York’s Business Corporation Law and Delaware’s General Corporation Law and related statutes
• Proficiency with technologies that improve efficiencies and facilitate the practice of law and remote work
