About the Client
Our client who is based in the UK and is a leader in the iGaming space, has had real growth over the last 5 years. They are now at the stage of looking for a partner on the Tech side of their business, to lead and grow it.
Job Purpose:
Our client seeks a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technology initiatives and drive the development of their software products. The CTO will leverage the latest cloud and web technologies to build and scale their platform efficiently.
Reporting to the CEO and as a key leadership team member, the CTO will guide the growth and development of their iGaming solutions.
The CTO will oversee the strategic direction, design, enhancement, development, and implementation of applications, focusing on project delivery, scalability, resilience, and security. They will also manage the tech team, develop talent, and maintain the company’s intellectual property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technology strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
Oversee architecture and technical processes to meet strategic requirements.
Deliver projects within time and budget constraints.
Ensure technology positioning aligns with market trends and customer needs.
Present the technology strategy to the market via PR and conferences.
Manage key technology projects and KPIs.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and industry influencers.
Set and refine technical standards across the business.
Day-to-day management and development of the tech team.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a CTO in a growing technology business.
Passion for Sports
Experience in Start-up/SME with enterprise-level experience.
Strong background in software architecture.
Detailed understanding of the agile software development cycle.
Proven experience managing large-scale product development teams (min. 5 years).
Knowledge of enterprise technology stacks (PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, Nuxt JS).
Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
Team player with a passion for building a successful company.
Commercially astute, fun to work with, and a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
