IT Application Manager

We are looking for an IT Application Manager who will be accountable to:

• Steer the change and evolution on existing applications used by Group Head Office Corporate Functions (which includes for example: Risk Officer, Financial Officer, Communication, Control Functions, Reinsurance)
• Dealing from change concept to realization, the Application Manager is accountable for the success of the implementation
• Supports the Customer in transforming their new needs into solutions within the scope of existing applications
• Guarantees the respect of agreed timelines and costs, takes under control risks
• Accountable of the compliancy with Company’s guidelines and policies
• Keep the knowledge of existing application portfolio and relative architectures

IT Application Manager key accountabilities:

• Is accountable to gather from any Change Initiator requirements, evaluate the impact on the existing solution, risks and financial evaluation
• Maintain the knowledge of the functional domain of the application in charge
• Execute the change management process according with internal guidelines and Group Policies
• Collaborates with Production Services to define impacts of changes on the existing services: deals with the functional, technical and architectural impacts
• Collaborates with Production Services to fully support the Service Transition before any change release and the post go live phase
• Based on the technical and architectural knowledge of the applications in their charge, is involved in Performance issues. They can be supported by the Architectural team
• In case of Audit or Regulatory streams related to architecture and technical solution, analyze the impact and deals with assessments on as is analysis and addresses resolutions, keeping constantly aligned the Production Services involved
• Manages the interaction with venrdors/third parties or infrastructure defines changes activities; keeps under monitoring the change project in full respect of timeline and costs. Reports progresses with Customer. In case of middle/large sized projects, is supported by a Project Manager for the involvement of stakeholders and definition of a plan
• Reports to the demand management team the needs of budget to for the maintenance/change activities required to keep the application in line with Group Policies or in case of renewals of hardware/software components
• Provides tools for source code quality and security evaluation and is accountable to keep under control and manage the risks of the technical solution and end of life; leads VAPT remediation and Security&Cybersecurity assessments and remediations, pursuing the increase of SW quality through tools like Kiuwan, working strictly with the Production Services
• Fully accountable of the effectiveness and quality of the delivered changes, and has the duty to operate in line with Company’s policy, guidelines and technical measures, keeping related risks under control

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• 3 years of similar experience in an International context
• Good knowledge of the DevOps suite and methodologies
• Experience with technologies and architectures based on cloud Azure/Office 365 Suite is preferred
• Good knowledge of security aspects related to application frameworks
