Shift Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor will manage and coordinate the performance of tasks at required duty stations throughout ANC. They may be required to manage visitor information assistance and traffic control and/or visitor screening.Required Qualifications

• An Associate degree or certificate in a field relevant to visitor operations of a large public facility, national park, or similar venue; this may include communications, business management or operations, or similar general curriculum course; or
• Two years of related post-secondary education and three years of relevant professional experience at a large public venue or government facility; or
• Six years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation
• Must possess a valid U.S. state driver's license
  
  

PLEASE NOTE: Employees in these positions will be required to work outside and to be standing on their feet and/or walking for extended periods of time. Each shift is approximately 10 hours, and it is normal for employees to be on their feet or to be walking for 8-9 hours of their shift. Employees work in all weather conditions (rain/sleet, snow, thunder and lightning, hail, 100 degree temperatures, 100% humidity).
