Our client is a well-established and rapidly expanding real estate firm in NYC looking to add to their growing team by hiring a dynamic and motivated Receptionist / Front Desk Specialist. They specialize in commercial luxury real estate and have a strong reputation for excellence in our industry. The Receptionist / Front Desk Specialist would be needed to help coordinate the office and greet incoming clients.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$18/hr – $23/hr
Position Overview
This key Receptionist / Front Desk Specialist role will be the first point of contact for both the clients and employees, setting the tone for their experience with our company. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities Of The Receptionist / Front Desk Specialist
Welcome guests and clients in a warm and professional manner.
Handle all incoming calls, taking messages, and transferring calls as necessary.
Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conferences for staff members.
Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, packages, etc.
Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Maintain client database and other office records.
Assist with other project tasks, as needed, under the direction of the manager/supervisor.
Qualifications For The Receptionist / Front Desk Specialist
A minimum of 1 – 2 years of reception or administrative experience, preferably in a real estate or professional service office setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exudes professionalism and has the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new technology.
Exceptional organization and multitasking skills.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
