Project Risk Manager

Our client, a global investment bank located in New York, NY, is looking for a Project Manager to assist with the firm's Risk Capital implementation. This role sits in the Risk Management Department who are responsible for the model-based regulatory required capital analysis. The individual will be needed to deliver insightful analysis and management information to support review and assurance of the counterparty credit risk regulatory capital position and provide clear, concise and precise responses to information requests from senior management and regulatory authorities. Candidates must have project and/or program management experience within Risk Management.

Qualifications:

• At least seven years relevant work experience as a current or former Management Consultant with experience in financial services or in a project management role for a financial services firm
• Relevant professional experience in the field of Model risk governance/Market risk governance
• Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior leadership
• Experience influencing mid to senior level executives / ability to develop and maintain working relationships across various stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
