About The Role

As our product designer, you will be in charge of crafting a user experience that is intuitive, delightful, and nudges users towards meeting our business goals. This will be achieved primarily through product design, but will also include the brand and graphic design needs of any customer touchpoint.

What you’ll do:

  • UX design: Create intuitive, user-friendly designs across mobile and web that are informed by feedback from research, interviews, and usability tests.
  • Brand design: Maintain brand guidelines that speak to the values and aspirations of our target customers, and that evolve with changes in our product and competitive landscape.
  • Graphic design: Build a set of assets (color palette, iconography, typography, illustrations) that embody our brand identity and that achieve consistency across our customer touch points.
  • Data analytics: Navigate our data tools to draw and communicate conclusions that are used as inputs in the design roadmap.

You are:

  • Multidisciplinary: You see product design as a combination of art and science, mixing aesthetics with quantitative work to create customer love and reach business goals.
  • Product thinker: You incorporate business goals, product principles, operational constraints, and JTBD into designs. You use this knowledge to bring clarity into ambiguous product discussions.
  • Systems thinker: You maintain design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines that scale across collaborators and that increase productivity across the company.
  • Project manager: You build strong relationships across the org, ****and use that to manage project stakeholders and timelines through clear communication. You rally behind big projects and sharpen our collaborative muscle.
  • Bilingual: You speak and writes Spanish at a native level, and are able to own copy writing for the product interface and marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • Native spanish proficiency
  • 3 years of experience building consumer mobile products
  • An interest in serving an underserved community :)
