Job Title: PACE System Administrator (Full-Time)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: The PACE System Administrator provides a wide range of technological and educational support to the PACE Programs’ staff to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. This role advocates for effective utilization of available technology while ensuring simplicity and ease of use for the end users. Reports directly to the Director of Quality & Corporate Compliance.

Specifications

Education : Associate degree in information technology or IT certifications.

Experience : Five years of general computer installation, maintenance and repair experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed. Experience with Windows desktop and Server OS and MS Office. Basic understanding of switches, routers and TCP / IP networking as well as DHCP and DNS protocols Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, AD administration, user account creation and Internet email.

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required : Valid NC driver’s license & reliable vehicle

Certification Preferred : Comp TIA A , Network or Microsoft MCP certifications

Key competencies: Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Most possess excellent skills in communication (written and verbal), prioritizing, problem assessment & solving, attention to detail & accuracy, flexibility, and adaptability. Proficient in providing excellent customer service and teamwork minded. Must be patient and passionate about educating those that are less proficient in the use of technology,

Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serves as the PACE Programs’ Electronic Medical Record (EHR) Administrator.
  • Serves as the PACE programs’ IT liaison through oversight of technology equipment, troubleshooting of minor IT issues, facilitation of monthly collaboration meetings between Kintegra IT & the PACE programs, coordination of on-site visits of Kintegra IT staff and advocating for the needs of PACE program staff members as needed.
  • Oversees organization specific software systems including, but not limited to PACELogic, PrimeSuite, FaxIt2Me, PaperPort, Adobe, ZixMail, & IntusCare.
  • Serves as the liaison for the PACE program specific online learning needs and oversees the creation, assignment and running of reports for the PACE program specific online training courses.
  • Maintains the employee “How To” SharePoint website, including but not limited to ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of the resources available. In collaboration with the Administrative Executive Assistant, creates guides & job aides to assist with technological literacy of staff, and provides training to staff as needed.
  • Acts as a resource to make recommendations for future technology standards and software implementation to increase effectiveness of communication & general process efficiency, and assists with the implementation & operationalizing of decided upon systems and technology.
  • Supports Senior TLC’s mission to encourage and support the quality of life of seniors wishing to continue living in the community; its vision to be the preferred provider of individualized care for seniors in the community; and its values of respect, integrity, accountability, compatible goals, and compassionate care.
