Outside Sales Representative

The QUIKRETE® Companies, the leading packaged cement and concrete products producer, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Sales Representative for our Memphis, TN facility.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include sales/service to home centers, lumberyards, hardware stores, and other various retail locations

• Continue to build on the long-term business relationships we have with our customers and continue to grow them through on-site sales calls, product training, special events and handling store support issues in a timely manner
• This established territory will require more time in an account management role; however, sales prospecting and establishing a new customer base will be a part of this role
• Responsibilities will also include sales/service to home centers, lumberyards, hardware stores, and other various retail locations
• Work independently and maintain a good working relationship with Quikrete locations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and three (3) years related in sales of consumer/retail-oriented product lines.
• Good communicator, both written and verbally
• A positive attitude and be able to work independently
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean record
• Ability to identify new clients, business opportunities and establish new customer base
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
