What You Will Be Doing
Performing regular maintenance and diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related equipment
Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
Completing detailed reports and maintaining records on maintenance and repair work
Staying updated with new technology and techniques in diesel engine mechanics
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards
Collaborating with the fleet management team to schedule maintenance and optimize vehicle availability
Providing emergency on-site repairs as needed
Maintaining a fleet of tag-along and semi-trailers, passing DOT annual inspections, and conducting various repairs
What You Bring To The Table
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Vocational training or certification in Diesel Mechanics or a related field
Ability to use diagnostic tools and software efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Capability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies
