Summary of Position:

The Marketing QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of content across various platforms. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with content creators, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve content-related issues.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate content to ensure it meets quality standards, guidelines, and brand voice.
  • Conduct thorough content audits and spot checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Perform functional and usability testing on content to ensure proper display across different devices and platforms.
  • Verify that content adheres to SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Document QA findings, report issues, and provide detailed feedback to content creators and developers.
  • Generate QA reports and metrics to track content quality and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with content creators, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve content issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide QA insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of QA processes and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Assist in the development of QA guidelines and documentation.
  • Utilize Content Management System (CMS) tools to review and manage content submissions and updates.
  • Ensure content within the CMS is accurate, up-to-date, and properly formatted.
  • Use issue tracking systems to log, monitor, and resolve content-related issues.
  • Follow up on reported issues to ensure timely resolution and verify fixes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in content quality assurance, content management, or a related field.
  • Experience with content management systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience, Marketo, others) and QA tools (Litmus, Email on Acid, Selenium, BrowserStack, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, others).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using CMS tools and QA software.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Workfront) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
