Dessert Holdings is looking for an Inventory Analyst (Manufacturing). The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for daily creation, collection, and closing of Work Orders associated with tracking of Raw and Packaging Materials to produce Finished Goods. Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, and Quality Assurance to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of inventory physically and electronically.
There are multiple shifts available, including Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, and Wednesday to Sunday.
Compensation Range: We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year (overtime eligible), based on your experience, skills, and education.
Key Responsibilities
Create, modify, and close work orders as the production process is completed.
Prepare, sort, and interpret data in an organized manner so entries are done efficiently. This would include matching assemblies with batch tickets, matching POs with receiving, etc.
Identify and escalate questions, inconsistencies and errors in production documentation and electronic Work Orders.
Perform Cycle Counts to compare and reconcile theoretical inventory with actual inventory.
Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices. This helps ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
Adheres to PPE requirements as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2 years of inventory analyst experience preferred. High School Diploma will be accepted with at least 3 years of experience in the field.
Knowledge of Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations
Knowledge of inventory processes and controls in a food manufacturing environment, from receipt of raw materials through finished goods production
Transactional ERP Systems Experience
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to identify and escalate process and technical issues.
Proficient in MS Office with Intermediate Excel
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Self-driven individual with strong ability to manage ambiguity, multi-task, work with minimal supervision and who adapts readily to changes in priorities and business conditions
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
Positive attitude and experience dealing with non-financial managers and working in a team environment
