Human Resources Generalist

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Human Resources Generalist (Night Shift) located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Site HRBP Director, the HR Generalist role will be responsible for implementing HR programs and training and advising employees, supervisors and managers on policies and procedures for the Buffalo Grove site.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provides training and guidance to site employees, supervisors and managers on programs, systems and interpretation and application of HR policies and procures
• Manages Employee Relations issues/investigations and assists with workplace concerns or risks for night shift workforce
• Impacts business initiatives and decision making by highlighting trends and opportunities for improvements through data analysis and presentation of data analytics
• Establishes and develops relationships at all levels of the organization by interacting with workforce on a consistent basis
• Attends regularly scheduled meetings to collaborate with HR Team to deliver on HR strategies and actions to support the growth and profitability of the site

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource related function
• Typically requires 3- 5 years of Human Resources or related experience
• Employee Relations experience required
• Demonstrated advanced experience and skills associated with performing HR functions
• Ability to provide on-site support to night shift workforce; work schedule M-F, 3:00pm – 12:00am
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Excel & PowerPoint experience; Intermediate level required - advanced proficiency a plus!
• Workday experience helpful
