Job Summary/Basic Function

The Graduate Administrative Coordinator ( GAC ) is responsible for supporting graduate and post baccalaureate programs through the management and oversight of centralized application systems ( CAS ) and admission processes. This individual will function as the subject matter expert for the Liaison suite (GradCAS, NursingCAS, and PostBacCAS) used by all graduate and post bacc programs. The GAC will work collaboratively to ensure a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience for incoming post-traditional students.

While housed under Admissions and reporting to the Associated Director of Graduate and Post Bacc Marketing and Enrollment, the GAC will build strong working relationships with the Director of Graduate and Post Baccalaureate Education, graduate and post bacc program directors and faculty, campus partners, and program/department administrative assistants. Establishing cohesive, transparent cross-departmental communication is vital in this role. In addition, the GAC will be instrumental in continually educating admissions colleagues about Concordia’s post-traditional programs, building awareness, and ensuring an excellent experience for prospective students.

The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for customer service, adaptability, and collaboration. They will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and be an energetic problem solver.

Education/Experience

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in administrative support, business or related field, plus 2 years of experience or by equivalent education and experience.

  • Attention to detail while maintaining efficiency with high work volume.

  • Advanced technology and software skills (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM , LMS )
  • Aptitude and interest in working with social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked In
  • A curiosity about how things work and ability to imagine and implement ways to improve them.
  • Knowledge of College organization and culture is beneficial but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with two years for directly related work experience or by equivalent education and experience.
