Manufacturing Engineering Manager

LHH is currently seeking a professional Engineer excited about leadinga team and process for a growing company! This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled professional ready to make an impact both tactically and strategically. The individual in this role will have direct visability to executive leadership and the opportunity to lead across multiple business units.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional development.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and R&D to support new product introductions and resolve production issues.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Manage capital projects related to manufacturing equipment and facility upgrades.
• Provide leadership in problem-solving efforts related to manufacturing processes and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) is a plus.
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels within the organization.

Employment Type: Full-time

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k plans

Hours: Monday through Friday 8-4

Salary: $100,000 to 120,000/year based on experience
