Broward House, Inc. is a not-for-profit community-based organization serving Broward County with a focus on HIV care and Prevention, housing, and behavioral health. In addition to other responsibilities, this position will have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor, evaluate and implement program quality assurance, improvement and clinical integrity through chart reviews, surveys, policy and procedure revision and other applicable means
  • Provide input, oversight and monitoring to program activities, including development of collaborating agencies and sites for housing and health activities
  • Assesses and provides support for staff competencies through a strength building lens
  • Supervise daily activities of assigned staff and implementation of evidenced based models
  • Contribute to a work cultural that inspires team work and effective interventions for the most challenging situations
  • Assess, develop, locate and track training needs for program staff.
  • Monitoring program productivity, outcomes and service delivery goals
  • Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program services, initiatives, procedures and standards.

Skills/ Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of HIV disease, intervention and prevention preferred
  • Ability to respond to critical/crisis situations effectively
  • Entry level leadership sills
  • Creative and solution focused
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, collaborating agencies and the public
  • Ability to demonstrate and model culturally competent behavior
  • Ability to work under pressure and to assess changing priorities and competing deadlines is essential
  • Bachelors in human services, masters preferred
