Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology, the echocardiographer performs a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures through the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves. Functions within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and the hospital policy and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.
EDUCATION
Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related health care field; RDCS registry preferred. BLS Training required.
Experience
1 year experience cardiac ultrasound minimum.
