CAMP is seeking a therapeutic medical physicist to regularly support clinical physics coverage in southern Wyoming. The successful applicant will regularly cover a cancer center that operates with two Truebeams in an Eclipse/Mosaiq environment with support from our Colorado-based team. The HDR program is currently being revamped as the VariSource is being replaced with a Bravos and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help build this program. Applicants should be willing to work within the structure we have in place internally as a part of a physics team while also functioning independently on site as a responsible physicist for site-specific coverage needs.
In addition to routine medical physics coverage, CAMP supports clinically relevant research amongst its team to ultimately support best practices for patient care across the Mountain West region. CAMP provides its own medical physics equipment and has many internal subcommittees (such as 3D printing, Scripting, and Peer Review), where a creative physicist can find a place to build. CAMP also supports professional activity with dedicated time/dollars to bring knowledge back to our team at large. Required Qualifications
ABR eligible or certified
Minimum 2 years clinical experience
