The IT Infrastructure Manager at our client's firm leads a team of IT engineers, overseeing infrastructure projects and supporting M&A activities for efficient integration and optimization. Responsibilities include planning, designing, building, maintaining, and supporting technical systems. This role involves reverse engineering existing environments, managing migrations, and seamless integration into the client's infrastructure. Additionally, the IT Infrastructure Manager provides advanced support for escalated Level 3 incidents, ensuring robust and secure infrastructure. Strong project management skills and technical expertise are essential to drive successful transitions and integrations, enhancing overall performance and efficiency.

The IT Infrastructure Manager will develop and implement the organization's IT infrastructure strategy, aligning it with business goals and driving innovation by integrating new technologies. They will lead all infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, within scope, and on-budget delivery. Overseeing M&A activities, including reverse engineering, migration, and integration of existing environments is a key part of the role. The manager will lead and mentor a team of IT engineers, fostering a collaborative culture and identifying training opportunities.

The role includes planning, designing, and implementing scalable technical systems with detailed documentation, and ensuring ongoing maintenance for performance, reliability, and security. Providing advanced support for escalated Level 3 incidents and expert guidance on complex technical issues is crucial. The manager will develop and enforce security policies, ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and manage the IT budget for cost-effective resource use. Establishing and monitoring KPIs to assess IT operations' effectiveness, driving real-time monitoring projects, and providing regular reports to senior management are also responsibilities. Continuous improvement, staying current with industry trends, and evolving the IT strategy are vital.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience, with perfect corporate-level English skills. Experience in enterprise finance and/or Investment or Asset Management organisation, managing remote teams, and a proven track record in building and maintaining high-performance, secure IT systems are essential. Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, and CISSP, and a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field are required.

Technical Experience

The ideal candidate will have expertise with IT service desk solutions (preferably Manage Engine ServiceDesk Plus), Citrix CVAD 7 or similar technologies (VMware Horizon), and Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration and configuration. Experience with mobile device management systems (such as Intune, MobileIron), backup software (preferably Commvault), printer management, and monitoring systems (such as PTRG) is required. Skills in Active Directory, remote support assistance, email management systems, databases (Microsoft SQL), cybersecurity frameworks, storage systems (SAN or NAS), hosting troubleshooting, and network architecture (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN) are essential. Strong knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure access controls is also required.
