Commercial Lead (Decarbonisation)

No.2 role in this employee-owned global consulting firm. The primary remit will be to help build the UK business, developing new clients and overseeing technical advisory work around carbon accounting and modelling, net zero & decarbonisation strategies, SBTi alignment and transition planning.

Sustainability is at the heart of this business, and they are investing heavily in growing the Sustainability, Resilience & ESG practice to help clients navigate a constantly evolving landscape of risks and opportunities. This is a key leadership role within a growing team.

The Commercial Lead will be a trusted advisor contributing thought leadership and speaking at conferences. They will be a robust, client-focused leader embedded in the UK sustainability market, capable of driving new business, acquiring clients, expanding markets, generating leads, negotiating deals, networking, and building and managing a team of technical experts. This is a great next step for a strategically focused sustainability consultant with a strong background in decarbonisation, a track record in the UK sustainability market and a desire to take a commercially focused leadership role.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK, but access to London twice a week is needed. There will be an opportunity to build and develop a team.
