Junior Project Manager (Startup)

Who Are We?

Nixon Digital Services in helping global companies manage their complex website portfolios. Our unique SaaS platform assists companies like FrieslandCampina and AkzoNobel in gaining control over their website portfolios. With the Nixon Platform, they have the capability to continuously monitor their entire website portfolio in terms of compliance, performance, privacy, and security. Nixon Digital is a small, dynamic team of 15 employees, founded as a joint venture between Connect2Crowd and Triple.

What Will You Do?As a Consultant with QA Responsibilities, you will engage in a diverse range of activities to ensure the seamless integration and quality assurance of our SaaS platform for clients.

Project Management and Consultancy:

• Lead 10-week implementation projects for new clients from onboarding to implementation and operations.
• Regularly communicating with our customers about how the Nixon platform and our consultancy services can assist them in achieving their compliance goals.
• Receiving training to become an expert in our implementation projects. As an official OneTrust partner, we implement various OneTrust modules, for which you will be partly responsible.
• Collaborate with the UX team, Product Owner, and other key team members in developing new features like compliance dashboards.
  
  

Quality Assurance:

• Work within a compact scrum team to test software features being developed.
• Write and execute test scripts, performing functional tests to ensure the application meets quality standards.
• Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and feedback, integrating this information into the testing and development process.
  
  

Team Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with a small but highly skilled team of developers and technical specialists.
• Support and work in tandem with the sales team to understand and meet client expectations.
• Engage in productive discussions with team members, including the founder, product specialists, and customer success managers.
• Contribute to a dynamic team environment with a focus on innovation, proactive problem-solving, and a hands-on approach.

Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high quality and effectiveness of the Nixon Platform, ensuring it meets and exceeds the needs of our multinational clients.

Who are we looking for?We are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual who excels in both project management and quality assurance in a complex digital environment. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualities:

• Solution-Oriented Mindset: You should be someone who is adept at turning complex issues into actionable plans. A person who thinks in terms of possibilities and solutions.
• Knowledge and affinity with Privacy and Compliance: As our services are vital for multinationals, an understanding of the organizational complexity and the challenges associated with privacy and compliance for these companies is crucial.
• Agile and Adaptable: The ability to schedule and manage work and deadlines efficiently is vital.
• Excellent Communication Skills: As the role involves regular interaction with clients and internal teams, strong communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Dutch and English (C2 level) is required.
• Team Player with a Hands-On Approach: We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is not hesitant to dive deep into work. Team spirit is highly valued in our company.
• Educational and Professional Background: A Bachelor's leve, along with experience in online privacy compliance, project management, and quality assurance, is preferred.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive and hands-on approach is key, as is the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  
  

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of education in a relevant field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic Knowledge of Project Management: While extensive experience is not required, a foundational understanding of project management principles and a willingness to learn agile methodologies are important.
• Introductory Understanding of Privacy and Compliance: Familiarity with privacy policies, cookie management solutions, and SSL certificate management is beneficial, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
• Quality Assurance Interest: An interest in software testing and quality assurance. Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory.
