Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements, business models, competitive landscape and growth projections of startups
Evaluate technical feasibility, uniqueness of solution, IP etc.
Assist in due diligence (DD) processes incl. commercial, financial, tax, legal DD, trademark and IP DD
Perform company valuations
Support negotiations of investment deals, including shareholder rights, equity ownership and financing rounds Assess potential strategic value and synergies between Startup and Continental
Ensuring that all investments and VC activities comply with legal requirements
Assist in portfolio management, supporting portfolio companies' growth and strategic initiatives Work on reporting of the VC portfolio as well as VC portfolio companies - incl. but not limited fair value reporting and underlying industry trends
Skills & Qualifications:
First experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A) or Strategy Consulting required (internships or analyst programs)
Involvement in due diligence processes and evaluation of investment opportunities
Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
Business understanding and interest to understand technical aspects (Corporate and Startup)
