Position: Instrument Software Quality Assurance
Nature of Role: Nabsys is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Product Development team. Ideal candidates are committed to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems and instruments. The position will report to the VP, Product Development.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement testing strategies and processes for the Nabsys HD-Mapping firmware and software
● Work with the development team to ensure that quality assurance best practices are followed
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions meet business needs and customer requirements
● Create and maintain test strategies, plans and cases
● Automate test cases across the instrument and cloud
● Analyze test output, report issues, and recommend software improvements
● Manage and track testing activities, including identifying and tracking defects and test deficiencies
● Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other team meetings
● Continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of testing processes
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
● 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, software development, or a related role
● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
● Experience with Python, C/C , and similar programming languages, as well as the common test frameworks for each such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
● Experience with instrumentation of embedded software testing required
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
