• Controller Experience: You have 8* years in the finance field, and 3 years leading your sector
• GovCon Experienced: You have 5 years of experience on Government Contracting finance
• Highly Preferred: Experience using Deltek
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a meticulous Senior Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize our financial reporting systems, invoicing, and procedures
• In this role, you will ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting while upholding stringent internal controls to safeguard our company's assets
• You'll collaborate extensively with auditors, management, and other departments to achieve our shared objectives
• Coordinate monthly financial closings, conduct spending variance analysis, and ensure timely financial statement completion
• Manage general ledger account reconciliation process and analyze spending variances for accuracy, making necessary corrections
• Assist in preparing annual Year-End reports and supervise assigned direct reports
• Develop strategies for minimizing B & O tax, property tax, and sales tax, including collaboration with qualified consultants
• Maintain daily sales reports and reconcile month-end cost of sales
• Collaborate closely with auditors to explain accounting procedures and facilitate annual audits
• Ensure accuracy of financial data management systems for informed decision-making
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing costs, inventory, budgets, and capital
• Perform other duties as assigned
