Senior Business Operations Manager

General Position Summary:

Hithium Energy Storage has a rapidly growing, GWh-scale overseas pipeline and is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to lead and support critical objectives related to project delivery execution (highest emphasis), operations management, and high-level business administration. This role is cross-functional and requires an individual capable of learning new job functions, with accompanying specific product-based knowledge to be successful. The role will report to leadership within Hithium’s Global Delivery Center, and have access to internal mentorship to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Hithium’s US operations, which include but are not limited to: project logistics, inventory management, operations data reporting, import trade administration, business process development, and other ad-hoc business operation tasks.
• Work with customers, logistics vendors on project deliveries and execution, with an emphasis on utility-scale energy storage projects. May include some limited travel to warehouses, project sites on an occasional basis.
• Manage, analyze, reconcile, and compile insights from project operations data related to deliveries, carried inventory, forecasted deliveries (post-production), and related transactional reference numbers.
• Support internal import trade administration and other overseas supply chain initiatives.
• Assist with internal data reconciliation and audit reporting.
• Drive processes cross-functionally across departments to effectively manage Hithium’s GWh-scale project pipeline of battery energy storage systems being delivered to the US.
• Proactively identify areas of improvement and business risks for the front-to-end administration of Hithium’s US business as business scale continues to grow.
• Rapidly learn critical product and industry knowledge, as well as from previous project case studies from existing leadership. Motivation will be critical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience, work experience in companies with international operations a plus. Experience range being considered is broad, and additional years of experience will also be strongly considered for this position.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite capability, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
• General quantitative and analytical skillset is required, with accompanying communication skills to explain detailed interpretation of operations data.
• Renewable energy industry experience a plus
• Team player that is able to work with and obtain information across departments
• Dependent on qualifications, role may have exposure to other Hithium international subsidiary operations
• Travel requirement: 10-20%, can be defined further after starting role.
