Non Certified Coder

Job Summary

We are seeking a Non-Certified Coder to join our healthcare team. The Non-Certified Coder will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning accurate medical codes for billing purposes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in medical coding preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
  

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records to accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Ensure codes are entered correctly into the billing system
• Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify information and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Stay up-to-date on changes in coding guidelines and regulations to ensure accurate coding
