Position: Loan Originator Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Loan Originator Assistant. This pivotal role supports our loan origination process by managing administrative tasks, maintaining client communications, and ensuring operational efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Follow up on loan applications with borrowers.
Conduct phone calls and maintain communication with potential borrowers.
Assist Loan Originators in ensuring accurate application submissions.
Collect and review borrower financial documentation to ensure accuracy.
Evaluate borrower qualifications based on repayment capacity.
Review income, credit, and asset documentation.
Requirements
Proficient understanding of Agency Requirements (FNMA/FHLMC/VA/HUD/USDA).
Familiarity with loan products, mortgage documents, and regulatory guidelines preferred.
Underwriting background is advantageous but not required.
Ability to calculate income accurately.
Proven experience in analyzing and structuring loan files.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Sense of urgency and proactive approach.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.

Remote position; Charlotte, NC preferred.
Availability
Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm MST, with flexibility for weekend work as needed.
