About the Role:

CURA is looking for an energetic Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist! In this role, you'll be the architect of our employee training programs, enhancing skills, performance, and knowledge across our workforce. You'll collaborate with departments to assess training needs, develop engaging materials, and ensure effective delivery of our learning initiatives in Third Party Logistics (3PL).


Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Training Programs: Create workshops and on-the-job training sessions that are as effective as they are exciting.

Develop Engaging Materials: Craft manuals, handouts, and visual aids that make learning fun and informative.

Lead Training Sessions: Conduct sessions for employees at all levels, making sure content is both engaging and informative.

Adapt Training Methods: Use a variety of techniques to cater to different learning styles.

Evaluate and Improve: Gather feedback, assess effectiveness, and tweak programs for continuous improvement.

Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and advancements in training and development methods.

Innovate: Recommend and implement new training strategies and technologies.

Collaborate: Partner with department heads and subject matter experts to develop specialized training programs.

Foster Learning Culture: Promote continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education plus relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a learning and development role.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Preferred experience with TMS and Microsoft 365.
