Consilium Marine US, Inc. seeks a Finance Controller in Fort Lauderdale. This pivotal role oversees financial operations and ensures regulatory compliance. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, effective organization, and adept financial management.

As our company experiences year-over-year growth and expands into South America, we are seeking a Finance Controller to manage accounting and finance activities for both North and South American locations. This role represents a crucial expansion of our current three-person Finance Team, driven by our rapid growth in the region.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of accounting experience and/or public accounting experience from the audit side.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Experience.
• Highly organized, responsible, and motivated person that works well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written in the English language.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Spanish and / or Portuguese Speaker is preferred but nor required. 
• Sales Tax application, Sales Tax returns, interface with Avalara software.

Responsibilities (examples):

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain all internal controls and safeguards.
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
• Respond to inquiries from the Head of Finance and Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
• Support both internal and external audits of ICFR and IFRS standards; work with auditors both in person and via online portals.
• Support coworkers in the office, and other offices as necessary.

• Salary range $85,000-$110,000 bonus
