Strategic partner with Voluntary Benefits Leaders that will deliver data, reporting & analytic insights to inform decision making and improve operational efficiency. Establishes and executes data & analytics roadmaps at the direction of the CPAO and VB Sr. Leadership in collaboration with IT stakeholders to deliver results.

Execute on Voluntary’s Data and Analytics Strategy

  • As informed by the VB Business Strategy, partners with Voluntary leaders to identify and deliver data and analytic capabilities required to meet business objectives surrounding growth and operational effectiveness. This includes developing analytic use cases to assist in solving business problems and challenges and providing actional insights and metrics to model the outcome of potential business strategies.
  • Supports the CPAO in developing & executing on a 3 year analytics roadmap based on VB’s strategic priorities. Able to pivot and adjust the roadmap based on emerging priorities for the business, evolving industry conditions and/or new platform integrations.
  • Lead by example as an Individual contributor performing client and operational analytics and presenting actionable insights to executive stakeholders that drive value.
  • Lead the design of stakeholder dashboards and executive reporting as well as other level based dashboarding for the VB business unit.
  • Leads the on-going development & automation of appropriate metrics and measurement methodologies for tracking outcomes, including industry best practice standards and benchmarking capabilities.
  • Establishes and enhances our ability to identify trends from multiple data points and sources. Provide recommendations on improving VB customer experience and business results goals by identifying levers we can pull to drive performance using data and analytics.
  • Partners with IT on designing and deploying DataLake and analytic data products that support business strategy.
  • Perform business analysis, identify root cause, and develop recommendations and solutions to drive business improvements.

Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership within Trustmark in the areas of data analytics; including but not limited to reconciliation & anomaly detection, advanced analytics, data science and predictive analytics based on changing market conditions and evolving future customer and business needs.
  • Partners with all levels of Trustmark leadership in furthering the sharing of data and business analytics across all business units, moving the organization through the analytical maturity continuum in support of evolving customer and business needs.
  • Lead a team of analytics professionals, including setting direction, providing feedback, managing performance, developing employees, and establishing the vision for this role supporting future VB strategies.
  • Improve data literacy and reporting/analytics deliverable adoption across the business unit
