We are currently searching for a talented Engineer in Training (E.I.) – Transportation to support our growing SoutheastRegion. This position will be based in Maitland, FL.
The successful candidate will assist a team of Engineers, Planners, Scientists, and other Professional and Support staff on a variety of projects including Roadway design, traffic design, and Engineering Studies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in Project Plans and reports
Assists and prepares project plans using the latest CADD software including but not limited to Microstation, OpenRoads, and AutoCADD
Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects
Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates
Prepare and assist in the preparation of project specifications
Review project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance to project requirements
Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules
Performs other duties as assigned
What You Need To Have
Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering
EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required
0 to 2 years of experience
Experience with MicroStation 3D modeling and other CADD production software is preferred
Traffic analysis / design experience a plus
