A Brief Overview
Under supervision of the Director, Medical Staff Services and Provider Enrollment oversees the day-to-day activities of the Provider Enrollment functions in support of organizational goals.
What You Will Do
Responsible for managing, prioritizing, monitoring, auditing, and measuring Provider Enrollment activities.
Serve as primary point of contact for provider enrollment staff and billing representatives to share information, record and prioritize issues, and ensure issues are escalated, resolved, and evaluated for continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with providers, payers and colleagues.
Support continuous improvement and automation of provider enrollment processes by collaborating with various stakeholders to develop new or enhance existing techniques, policies and procedures.
Direct and supervise special projects.
Lead team huddles and participate in cross-functional meetings.
Serve as back up to any/all functional areas within Provider Enrollment.
Research complex payor enrollment issues and prepare procedural direction for resolution.
Review claims data for trends and patterns and prepare regular edits and reports and to create action plans to resolve.
Work with pertinent departments.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Required
Minimum 3 years experience working with the management and provider enrollment process, preferably for multiple states. Required
