Assistant to Sports Outreach (Administrative)

Assists Prestonwood Sports Organization (“PSO”) league directors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist PSO directors with league set up, registrations, and rosters
  • Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
  • Assist PSO directors with league management through PSO software
  • Process gospel presentation decision documentation
  • Assist with general office duties including responding to phone calls, voicemail, and email for league support
  • Gather PSO camp information to update PSO website, including Summers at Prestonwood
  • Assist front desk during peak times as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
  • Passion for, and knowledge of, sports and sport facilities
  • Prior administrative support experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve
  • Basic Microsoft Office product skills
  • Ability to work a Monday – Friday schedule
  • Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certifications
  • Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, use of stairs, and able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance
