Sales Head, Taste & Wellbeing - Your Future Position
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to join our team in India for the Division Taste and Wellbeing. As the Sales Head, you will help lead the top-line and gross profit aspirations for the vertical. Reporting to the Commercial Director, South Asia for the Taste & Wellbeing Division, you will be based in Gurgaon.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Manage both Local & Regional accounts including fragmented market players and CPG accounts, excel in channel management to grow the retail and redistribution market within the vertical.
- You will grow business around all core categories, aggregate knowledge and leadership around specific categories, nurture and grow the new business created in “enter categories” by the BDMs.
- You will have to ensure Givaudan is well positioned to win - manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Technical Centre, and promote the expanded portfolio of Taste and Ingredients.
- You should manage the project pipeline within the entire vertical to achieve growth plans, follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch, de-fend business and lead negotiation of pricing agreements following company guidelines.
- You'll engage with several partners - external and internal: customers, industry experts, technical and marketing and the CSI team, to lead the agenda.
- As a senior leadership member of the Sub-region, you will develop and build talent, managing a team.
- Effective at driving organisational change and performance.
- You will be a member of the Commercial Leadership Team for the Sub Region.

Your professional profile includes:
- More than 15 years of proven track record in Sales.
- Strong leadership skills and experience building teams.
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Food technology or Food Sciences or Engineering with Specialisation in Business Administration or related areas.
- Experience working with people from technical, operation and innovation related backgrounds.
- Strong Analytical and Communication skills.
- Have strong problem-solving skills
- Build customer and industry relationships and provide customer-centric solutions
- Show capabilities for driving results
- Is a strategic thinker and can manage complexity and ambiguity
- Have the courage to address difficult issues, finds solution alternatives, does not unnecessary escalate
- Is able to make decisions by self and demonstrate a high sense of prioritisation and plan-ning
- Can manage partners, exhibits a high level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
