We are seeking a Global Social Media Manager to spearhead our organic social media strategies and align them with the organization's goals. In this role, you will develop global social media strategies that advance engagement and customer acquisition. As an innovator in social media, you will create and oversee compelling, accessible, and relevant content.


3Shape offers you the opportunity to become Global social media Manager in our Activation and Omnichannel team in Global Marketing responsible for managing our social media presence on global channels as well as being the point of contact for our local colleagues for activation. We are looking for an experienced, proactive and structured candidate to join our team. The job is located at 3Shape HQ in Copenhagen, right next to Kongens Nytorv.


About the role

You will oversee all social media activities and projects supporting our business goals. You will work across the Activation & Omnichannel team and Global Marketing ensuring the activities are aligned across channels and with the customer journey. An important aspect to succeed will be platform expertise and stakeholder management globally to ensure that performance goals are met.


You will work on a daily basis with a team of enthusiastic and skilled colleagues within Marketing, Corporate Communications, Product management, Academy, and Sales, both in HQ and globally.


Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Serve as the key figure in shaping and delivering the global social media strategy, accelerating brand engagement and growth across all platforms with 400 000 followers.
  • Adjust and implement the global content strategy to maintain a cohesive brand image and strengthen our presence.
  • Ensure professional, creative, quality marketing communication tailored explicitly for social media channels.
  • Own and develop our social media tools such as Hootsuite and Talkwalker to optimize digital strategies, provide recommendations and enhance engagement across all platforms.
  • Leading the governance and administration of social media channels (overseeing account access, brand alignment, content hygiene, guidelines, policy enforcement, playbook development, crisis management, and reporting)
  • Provide the training and further development of skills and digital tools across global, regional and local teams.
  • Create educational content to foster skill enhancement within the team
  • Represent the company as the social media face during events and congresses, actively engaging with audiences and representing our brand


Your competencies

  • You possess a commercial mindset, always considering our commercial goals in your deliveries
  • You have a good digital toolbox and you are able to understand business strategies and translate them into digital activation plans and execution
  • You are motivated and proactive in the way you work with a pragmatic attitude
  • You easily connect business, concept and content
  • You have proven analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities
  • You have an international mind-set and you are good at stakeholder management
  • You are open and comfortable within a busy environment where things move fast, and at times you may not know what tomorrow brings


Your experience

  • 3 years work experience with social media platforms and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge about SoMe Platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), Social Media Management Platforms (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite or similar, Talkwalker or similar) analytics tools (Google Analytics, PowerBI)
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint is crucial)
  • University degree, college degree or equivalent
