Our client is a public global wealth & alternatives firm with over $60 billion in combined assets. As a growing firm with offices in over 15 major financial centers and over 400 employees across three continents.


Currently, they are looking to add a Vice President, FP&A to join their dynamic finance team.

Reporting into the Global Head of FP&A, this position will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and enhance the firm's financial reporting infrastructure.


The VP, FP&A is a highly visible position across the organization, working with the CEO, President, CFO and Board of Directors. They will be a key member in developing analytics and insights to enable business decisions, presentations, communication with external parties (shareholders/investors/banks etc.) and will provide support on M&A, capital markets transactions and special projects.


Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning, Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Provide business analytics and timely forecasts to determine current and future financial performance
  • Drive the implementation of rolling forecasts and support quarterly earnings guidance to investors
  • Work collaborative with Finance team to support monthly reporting
  • Support the modernization of the firm's financial reporting through leveraging dashboards and visualization capabilities
  • Support and drive successful completion of special projects
  • Develop strong banking relationship sand assist with capital markets transactions
  • Serve as a sounding board to Analysts
  • Ad hoc reports and projects as needed


Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant financial planning & analysis experience
  • Wealth/Asset/Alternatives experience is a plus
  • Financial Services experience is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics - required
  • MBA, CPA/CMA is a plus
  • Experience working in a dynamic financial planning & analysis team
  • Working within a publicly traded company environment highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in organizing large data sets into clear concise analytical narrative
  • Strong attention to detail, very collaborative, strong work ethic, and eager to learn


This is a hybrid opportunity based out of the company's New York City office.
