Cubic Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Talent Management Specialist to support the talent management activities for Cubic Transportation Systems globally. In this role, you will play a key part in operationalizing our talent management strategy, ensuring a positive and productive employee experience across the talent lifecycle. This role will be a part of the Global Talent Management team and partner with the VP HR CTS.

Cubic Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Talent Management Specialist to support the talent management activities for Cubic Transportation Systems globally. In this role, you will play a key part in operationalizing our talent management strategy, ensuring a positive and productive employee experience across the talent lifecycle. This role will be a part of the Global Talent Management team and partner with the VP HR CTS.
Performance Management
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of performance management processes for the Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business unit.
- Deliver training programs and communications to support talent and learning initiatives, including goal setting, mid-year check-ins, career management/development, annual performance reviews, and professional soft-skills.
- Partner with Strategic People Partners (SPS) and HR Operations to ensure consistent application of performance management practices aligned to CTS goals and objectives.
- Partner with HR Operations to enable a fair and consistent performance improvement plan (PIP) globally. Deliver education and training to enable manager self -service.
- Partner with the Strategic People Partners team to identify talent gaps and create plans to address opportunity areas.
- Partner with the Strategic People Partners to identify high potential employees, create tailored development plans to nurture and retain top talent.
- Oversee the operational aspects of talent assessments and succession planning for the CTS business unit.
- Deliver training sessions for managers and employees on talent assessment tools and processes.
- Facilitate talent review meetings, ensuring clear communication and strategic decision-making.
- Partner with CTS Strategic People Partners to identify and facilitate training needs within Cubic Transportation Systems.
- Organize and support team-building activities to foster collaboration and engagement.
- Manage and facilitate leadership development programs to cultivate and enhance the capability of current and future leaders (all levels).
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create and present talent reports to drive business decisions.
- Assist with communication and implementation of DI&B programs and resources.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practice in talent development, L&D and DI&B.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
