The Senior Hardware Engineer will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of hardware solutions for our products. This position involves developing test strategies, conducting performance and stress tests, and ensuring the reliability and functionality of various hardware components. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive experience and judgment to achieve project goals and may lead and direct the work of others within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Design and Development:
Analyze requirements and develop hardware specifications for new products.
Design and implement hardware solutions, including circuit boards, processors, and wiring.
Testing And Validation
Develop and execute test strategies, including performance and stress tests, to ensure hardware reliability and functionality.
Use a variety of testing devices and systems to evaluate hardware performance.
Project Management And Leadership
Plan and manage hardware development projects from concept to production.
Lead and direct the work of other engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware with other product components.
Innovation And Problem-Solving
Apply creativity and latitude to address complex hardware design challenges.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into product designs.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred.
4-6 years of experience in hardware engineering or a related field.
Proven track record in hardware design, development, and testing.
Experience with project management and leading engineering teams is highly desirable.
