About:

Collaborates with Team Members to support our next generation products, services and enhancements to internal and external facing data analytic assets. Responsible for meticulous documentation and prioritization of requirements and procedures with careful planning and input from the Team Members. The Product Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activates supporting end users as well as managing the entire software development lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to support the next-generation products, services, and enhancements to internal and external facing data analytic assets.
  • Meticulous documentation and prioritization of requirements and procedures with careful planning and input from team members.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities supporting end users and manage the entire software development lifecycle.

Duties:

  • Oversee and manage software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, story creation, sprint planning, QA, training, and documentation.
  • Direct daily operations of the department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
  • Hold daily standups with developers.
  • Work with the operations team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Hold bi-weekly roadmap/planning meetings with executives and key stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories for the development team, review project plans to plot and coordinate project activity.
  • Train managers to act as primary points of support and support teams that don't yet have sufficient training.
  • Implement AI-based solutions to help the organization scale.
  • Ensure software remains in a validated state and can continue to be used in accordance with FDA, MDSAP, MDR, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Proactively identify issues in the system and lobby to get the systemic problems resolved.
  • Motivate and coach employees by assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
  • Delegate tasks and manage progress to ensure successful completion of department objectives.
  • Create and reinforce a culture of teamwork and actively resolve conflicts within the team.
  • Manage proactively by holding regular 1-on-1s and team meetings to ensure open lines of communication and professional development for direct reports.
  • Lead through coaching, utilizing employee performance tools, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs, recommending improvements such as hardware and software upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related study required.
  • 8 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Business intelligence experience.
  • Data experience or a data analytic background.
  • Practical experience in delivering web-based technology products and solutions from idea inception to product launch and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn business requirements into user stories.
  • Proven ability to manage remote resources, both domestically and offshore.
  • Experience working in an agile and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade people without being their direct manager.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures, and completing on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169, and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
