TRS is looking to for Process Engineers to join our client, a global leader in the EPC industry. There are multiple openings across the board as well as varying expertise. Please see below for following needs.
Under general supervision, you will perform all conventional aspects of Chemical Engineering. You will devise new approaches to problems encountered. Experience with Refining and Petrochemicals is preferred. Experience and aptitude with the use of process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS is highly preferred. You will perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. You may provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for heat and material balance, the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment.
- P&ID development such as design conditions, pressure relief valve sizing, hydraulic calculations, etc.
- Development of process simulators, configuration studies, incorporation and integration of licensor data
- Applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers.
- Scope definition from receipt of basic data to Issue for Design process deliverables. Interface with the client to define all operating requirements.
- Overall responsibility for Process Engineering deliverables, including simulations, heat and material balances, PFDs, equipment datasheets, and P&IDs. Assures Quality Control practices are in place and being followed.
- Manage scope change technically
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
- 5 years’ experience in EPC sector
- Demonstrated leadership of process design on capital projects, including responsibility for budget, schedule, and change management is required.
- (3 open positions) Lead Process Engineer (Hydroprocessing, Aromatics, Polymers) for RICC
- Hyroprocessing is highest need. Lead and execution experience with FEED/EPC company (Worley, Fluor, KBR, etc) is very important (10 years of experience).
- (6 open positions) Process Engineer (Hydroprocessing, Aromatics, Polymers) for RICC
- Hyroprocessing is highest need. Execution experience with FEED/EPC company (Worley, Fluor, KBR, etc) is very important (5 years of experience)
- (6 open positions) Experience Process Engineer (refinery experience , or Hydroprocessing, Aromatics, Polyers) for CPMC (Secondment).
- Lead and execution experience with FEED/EPC company (Worley, Fluor, KBR, etc) is important, but we can still use candidates without that kind of experience. (10 years of experience).
- (1) Fire Safety/Protection Engineer. Urgent again. RICC
- (1) Process Safety Engineer. CPMC
- (1) Environmental engineer. Says Urgent again but is unsure of duties and responsibilities CPMC
