IT Project Manager (Healthcare Implementations) - $105-110K - Hybrid

Local to Tampa Area - Onsite 1-2 times per month at our Tampa office

We are looking for a Project Manager (Remote eligible) able to work on EST time zone and spearhead implementations for our Health Plan/Health Insurance clients. This is a permanent employee role for someone who is experienced with non-stop implementations - handling project planning for end-to-end delivery, including kickoffs, milestones, managing scope, raid logs, and keeping implementation delivery on time and within budget. The right candidate will have PM experience in Healthcare environments (health plans or provider side).

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the successful completion of a project’s deliverables
• Has the lead role on a project team and serves as the primary contact
• Documents project scope within SOW
• Manages changes in scope in accordance with change control procedures
• Develops, updates, and actively manages a comprehensive project plan, including tasks, start and end dates, work effort, resource assignments, milestones, and critical path
• Drives collaboration between functional teams and customers to achieve milestones and deliverables
• Ensures project plan decisions are documented
• Identifies and mitigates risks
• Documents actions items and verifies they’re completed
• Facilitates meetings. Ensures agenda and minutes are published
• Responsible for ensuring project artifacts are stored in a location in line with company policies and are accessible by appropriate team members
• Manages resource bookings for assigned project(s)
• Responsible for reporting on the status of a project and escalating issues
• Drafts Statement of Work (SOW) or Change Request (CR) wherever appropriate

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience as a project manager including experience implementing SaaS software at health plans / health insurance organizations required
• Experienced in detailed project planning, project governance, capacity planning, and project budgeting
• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry (Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial) and understanding of related compliance and quality aspects
• Proficient technical understanding: ability to demonstrate knowledge of software development life cycle, application design, integration, and hosting technologies
• Professional experience with JIRA/Confluence and MS Project - for project plan documentation
