Responsible for maintaining inventory and assigned job responsibilities for the Bookstore at Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC).
Responsibilities
Receives, counts and stores product and materials from the stockroom
Records data and compiles stock reports
Compares office inventory records with sales orders, invoices, or requisitions to verify accuracy and receipt of items
Packs, unpacks and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, electric marking tool, or other labeling equipment
Examines and inspects stock items for defects or damage and reports to Bookstore Manager
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
High school education, some college preferred
Knowledge of administrative procedures such as processing systems, filing and records management systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic mathematical operations
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office programs
Able to push or pull up to 50 pounds and to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs
