We are searching for a Biomedical Equipment Tech, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform preventative maintenance and repair work on medical equipment under moderate supervision in accordance with provided procedures and schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform electrical safety inspections on equipment and accessories as assigned
Use the appropriate test equipment, complete tasks within the time frame specified in the PM schedule, as observed by Biomedical Engineering Manager and as documented in equipment service reports
Perform physical condition inspections as assigned
Troubleshoot and repairs stand-alone devices, and small system components as needed
Respond to and troubleshoot service calls in compliance with Departmental Policy
Document all service works in compliance with Departmental Policy
Assist in project support function
Document and record daily work in appropriate systems
Effectively utilizes departmental resources
Coordinate equipment inventory process
Attend various meetings providing relevant information as necessary

Skills & Requirements
Associate's Degree Electronics Or Biomedical Engineering Or One Of The Following Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Electronics Or Biomedical Engineering
Completion Of A Formal Military Educational Program In Electronics (Including But Not Limited To: Biomedical Engineering And/Or Weapons Systems) Preferred
3 Years Experience Servicing Biomedical Or Other Electronic Equipment Required
