Job Description: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile development, specifically with Microsoft Xamarin and .Net MAUI for Android and iOS cross-platform applications. As we transition from Xamarin to .Net MAUI, you will play a crucial role in this evolution, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile applications using .Net MAUI for Android and iOS platforms.
Lead the transition from Microsoft Xamarin to .Net MAUI, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our mobile development practices remain cutting-edge.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, with the potential to build and lead a dedicated mobile development team.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in mobile development with a strong focus on Xamarin and .Net MAUI.
Proficiency in C#, .Net, and cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
Experience with Android and iOS development.
Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and guidelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Located in St. Louis, MO, preferred but open to fully remote candidates.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a team or mentoring junior developers.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Prior experience in migrating applications from one technology stack to another.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
