Qualifications And Experience
A relevant degree in Humanities (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related field).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level is preferred.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
Humanities Teacher - Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities lessons to students in Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially 5.
Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to think critically and creatively.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Humanities curriculum.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Uphold high standards of teaching and learning, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
