We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team at our Navi Mumbai, Mahape location. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in Oracle database administration and a strong understanding of database concepts and operations. Experience with AWS Cloud will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management : Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
Performance Tuning : Monitor database performance and perform tuning as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage robust backup and recovery strategies.
Security : Ensure database security through user access management, encryption, and regular security audits.
High Availability : Implement and manage high availability solutions including RAC, Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
Monitoring : Utilize tools and scripts to monitor database health and performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly.
Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Collaboration : Work closely with development, network, and systems administration teams to support database needs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 4 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
Proficiency in backup and recovery methodologies using RMAN.
Knowledge of database security best practices.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
AWS Cloud (Preferred)
Experience with AWS RDS for Oracle.
Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Familiarity with cloud database migration strategies.

Preferred Certifications
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle Database Administrator.
