About The Job
The Supervisor may work in any type of food location on premises. This individual provides oversight at the direction of management to coordinate routine work activities of employees engaged in food operations or services. This individual will provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business. Assists in conducting and managing operations in the Food service Department in compliance with all regulatory agencies and the Medical Center mission statement.
What You’ll Do
Maintains key control of operations and responsible for activities to ensure opening, closing, and daily procedures are completed.
Promote the development of the foodservice team.
Responsible for orientation and training of employees.
Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity.
Participates in and supports department projects to ensure quality and continual process improvement.
Who You Are
2-4 years of previous food service supervisory experience required
Registered Dietitian/Bachelors degree related to food and nutrition preferred
Serve Safe Certified required
Prior schedule making experience.
