SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS:
Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings owned and operated by Olympic Medical Center. Repairs and maintains all machinery, mechanical equipment, systems, structures, furniture, walls and other elements of OMC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High school diploma/equivalent required. Two years of college or technical trade school preferred.
Experience
Minimum five years experience in mechanical and/or electrical construction and/or repair/ maintenance experience preferably in a healthcare setting, or current Journeyman level card with state license in plumbing, electrical, electronics, refrigeration or boiler operator.
Licensure/Credentials
Plumbing, electrical, and boiler operator's licenses and/or certification in medical gas supply systems, emergency power supply systems or refrigeration may be required.
Other
Working knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), National Electrical Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), Uniform Fire Code (UFC) regulatory requirements and standards preferred. Current/valid Washington driver’s license and driving record in compliance with OMC standards currently in effect or as may be amended. See HR Policy 3.12 Driving on Behalf of OMC Business.
